Daniel Delfin

Early Work in Costume and Performance
Tingting Delfin developed an early connection to costume design and performance while studying at Foundation University. He designed costumes for school dance productions and later became the founder and choreographer of the Buglasayaw Dance Troupe.
His early work combined clothing, movement, stage presentation, and local cultural performance.
Fashion Career in Manila, Cebu, and Dumaguete
After high school, Delfin spent more than two years in Manila working as a fashion illustrator and creating costumes for different events.

Miss Universe Philippines National Costume
Together with Gerry Fernandez, Tingting Delfin worked on the national costume worn by Grace Charmaine Vendiola, the Negros Occidental representative at Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
The cream embroidered gown with exaggerated sleeves was included by MEGA among the ten best national costumes of the competition.
Contribution to Dumaguete Fashion Events
Tingting Delfin has participated in major fashion presentations organised in Dumaguete, including Sinina Dumagueteña and Sinina Lumad Tang Disenyo.
These events brought together designers from Dumaguete and Negros Oriental and presented fashion connected to local heritage, identity, and cultural memory.
Sinina Sandurot Collection
In 2024, Delfin presented a collection during Sinina Sandurot that was described as a tribute and allegory of Dumaguete.
The collection referred to the city’s historical past, familiar local objects, and elements of everyday surroundings, combining fashion design with visual storytelling about Dumaguete.

Delfin was selected among the Top 10 sketch designers of the 2023 Sandurot Festival Costume Competition.
