Amir Sali, Tingting Delfin and Josip Tumapa at Silliman University Fashion Show

Filipino fashion designers Amir Sali, Tingting Delfin, and Josip Tumapa presented their collections at To the Golden Age: Dumaguete’s Fashion Reimagined, held at Silliman University on October 4, 2024, as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Claire Isabel McGill Luce Auditorium.

A central figure in the show was internationally recognized Filipino designer Amir Sali, known for his elaborate beadwork and a career that has taken him beyond the Philippines. Sali traveled from Manila to Dumaguete especially for the event, which also marked a return to Silliman University, where he had studied earlier in his life.

Josip Tumapa was also one of the organizers of the anniversary fashion show.
