Award-Winning Festival Design

Gerry Fernandez received the Best Designer award during the Buglasan Festival King and Queen competition in 2013. The award was connected to the Ayuquitan Festival delegation, whose candidate also received the Best in Filipiniana title.

Miss Universe Philippines National Costume

Together with Daniel “Tingting” Delfin, Gerry Fernandez designed the national costume worn by Grace Charmaine Vendiola, the Negros Occidental representative at Miss Universe Philippines 2021.

The cream embroidered design with enlarged sleeves was selected by MEGA as one of the competition’s ten best national costumes.

Contribution to Dumaguete Fashion Events

Gerry Fernandez has participated in Sinina Lumad Tang Disenyo, a fashion presentation held as part of Dumaguete’s Sandurot Festival.
