About Trixia Marie S. Maraña
Trixia Marie S. Maraña is a beauty pageant titleholder and business professional from Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. She studied Business Management at Asian College and had already competed in several pageants before representing Dumaguete City at the provincial level.
In 2015, Maraña represented Dumaguete City in the newly established Miss Negros Oriental pageant. The competition replaced the former Miss Negros Oriental Tourism pageant, with organizers describing the 2015 edition as the first Miss Negros Oriental under the new format.
Maraña was crowned Miss Negros Oriental 2015 on October 16, 2015, at the Lamberto Macias Sports and Cultural Complex. She also received the Best in Swimsuit and Miss Karrisma special awards.
Her pageant career later reached the international level. In 2016, Maraña represented the Philippines at Miss Asia 2016 in Kochi, India. Competing against candidates from other countries, she won the Miss Asia 2016 crown and also received the Miss Talent award.
Outside pageantry, Maraña worked as an auto loan assistant at BDO and later as a flight attendant with PAL Express. Her combination of a provincial title and a subsequent international pageant victory makes Miss Asia 2016 a significant part of her pageant career.
