This two-photo series was created on a beach in Dumaguete, near the airport. Photographer Anton Dvoryadkin appears in both images himself, using simple objects — a red balloon, an umbrella, and a teddy bear — to build two different scenes around the same theme of solitude.
The open sea, empty sky, and quiet shoreline leave much of the frame deliberately unoccupied, making isolation and distance part of the composition itself.
